Cabbage Roses

This is the first knitting pattern I've ever written, so be nice. 

What you'll need:

*Size 5 knitting needles
*Yarn, I used Lamb's Pride Bulky in the following colors:  Lotus Pink (dark) M-38, Pink (light) M-105 and Limeade (green) M-120
*Yarn Darning Needle
*Pin back

Flower pattern:

c/o 6
R1:  Knit all stitches (6)
R2:  Kfb all stitches (12)
R3:  Knit all stitches
R4:  Kfb all stitches (24)
R5:  Knit all stitches
R6:  Kfb all stitches (48)
R7:  Knit all stitches
R8:  B/O

Cut yarn leaving approx. a 8 inch tail.  Thread on darning needle.  Roll the bottom of the flower into shape stitching as you go.  Stitch up the side and weave in ends.

Leaf pattern:

c/o  2 (leave approx. an 8 inch tail)
R1:  K2
R2:  Kfb2 (4)
R3:  Kfb, K2, Kfb (6)
R4:  Kfb, K4, Kfb (8)
R5:  Kfb, K6, Kfb (10)
R6-R11:  Knit all stitches
R12:  K2tog, k6, K2tog
R13:  K2tog, K4, K2tog
R14:  K2tog, K2, K2tog
R15:  K2tog, K2tog
R16:  K2
R17:  B/O

Weave in ends and stitch to back of flower.

Stitch pin back onto the back of the leaf.  Now, attach it to something!
