Easy Flowerpot Canisters

List of Ingredients:

Small terra cotta pots with saucers

Wood beads with flat bottom

(I used the Doll Head/Knob size 1 1/4" unfinished by Lara's Crafts)

Hot Glue or Glass Glue

Acrylic Paints

Clear Spray Paint

These are super simple to make.  Just be sure to find saucers which will cover the top of the pot correctly.

I painted the wooden knobs first, then sprayed with clear spray paint.  Hot glue the kob to the top or use glass glue.

Then embellish them as you wish.  You can spray paint them a different color entirely, cover with tissue paper, paint on initials or label them with what will be inside.

Use them for your bathroom to hold barrettes, cotton balls or small items.  Be sure to cover the hole in the bottom if you're storing small items inside which could fall through the hole.  Use them to store office supplies, homemade candies or dog treats. 

Can you see these painted as an ice cream cone or cupcake?  Or maybe even the top painted like a flower with the knob being the middle of the flower?
