Quick Gratification Magnets

I'm starting my Christmas gifts early this year and wanted to make some cute stocking stuffers. 

These are little wood shapes which are already painted and sell for 25 cents each at Joann's and Michael's.  I purchased the small button magnets at Walmart for $1.28 for a package of 10.  I used clear Tacky Glue to adhere the magnets to the back of each shape. 

I decided to group them in sets:  The top left set goes to my mother in-law in Alaska, the Cowboy set to my mother in Montana, the garden set to a friend who loves to garden and the reindeer to a friend who is a Christmas decoration freak!

I'm cutting the galvanized metal in a cute shape for each, sanding off the rough edges and then wrapping in cellophane.

Super simple and instant gratification!
