I saw this idea in Adorn magazine and decided I needed to make a pair of my own. 

You can find these shoes in any Chinatown store or online from Pearl River Mart in NYC.  They have the traditional black or a variety of other colors all for $4.00 a pair!  And you'll find all sorts of other fun goodies you just can't live without.   

I embroidered my own design and I'm sure you can think of something cute that fits your style. You can also use other materials such as beads, fabric paint, glue on crystals---the possibilities are endless.
