Pom Pom Peep!
Make two small pom poms.  The bigger one will be the body and the smaller one the head.  I use my Japanese pom pom maker but you can make one from cardboard or refer to this tutorial.
Cut a piece of orange felt that looks like a chunky heart.  Save the remainder cut out for the beak.
Cut a small triangle for the beak.
With a needle and yellow thread, sew through the ends of the triangle so it is folded over to look like a beak.
Sew the beak onto the smaller pom pom.  You will need to secure it again by sewing the needle back through the top middle of the beak.  Again, take the needle through to the back of the head.

Sew on the black bead eyes on each side of the beak just as you did the beak.
Now, take the needle through the middle of the body pom pom down to the bottom.
Attach the felt feet by taking the needle back up through the body to the top of the head securing it to the bottom of the body.

Take the needle back down to the feet and repeat the step.  I sewed mine in an "X"
Take the needle back down through the top of the head to the feet and secure with a knot hidden under the body.
Trim around the eyes and beak so you can see it's face better.  You'll also want to shape the head by trimming around the bottom to distinguish it from the body.
